Why I Bought This

My garage tool situation was embarrassing. Tools in buckets, scattered across the workbench, falling off flimsy particle-board pegboard. I needed a wall storage system that could actually hold heavy tools, look professional, and make me feel like I had my life together every time I walked in.

Build Quality

This is 20-gauge steel — not the hardboard garbage from the hardware store. The panels are thick, rigid, and feel like they’ll outlast the wall they’re mounted on. The slotted hole pattern is the key innovation: hooks and accessories lock into the slots and cannot fall out. Traditional round-hole pegboard lets hooks pop out when you remove a tool — Wall Control hooks stay put. Period.

Installation

Mounting took about an hour for two panels. They include mounting hardware, but I used heavy-duty lag bolts into studs for extra security. The panels are pre-drilled with mounting holes that make alignment easy. You’ll want a level and a second pair of hands, but it’s a straightforward install.

The Black Accessories

The included accessory kit comes with various hook sizes, shelves, and bins — all in black powder-coated steel. They look sharp against the panels and lock into the slots firmly. I organized my most-used tools on the wall: hammers, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, tape measures, and drill bits. Everything has a home now and I can see it all at a glance.
